Dr. Shardul mehta
Dr. Shardul Mehta has been providing dental services in Midland since 1999. He completed his dental training at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario.
Upon graduation, he furthered his skills by completing a residency at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. During his residency, he provided comprehensive dentistry with a focus on in-patient care and oral surgical procedures. In addition to providing regular dental care at his practice, Dr. Mehta also holds privileges at Georgian Bay General Hospital and offers hospital-based dental care.
In his leisure time, you’ll find Dr. Mehta enjoying quality time with his family and friends, exploring beautiful Georgian Bay.

Dr. Kartik Sharma
Dr. Kartik Sharma is a graduate of the University of Toronto School of Dentistry and has recently joined as an associate at Bayshore Dental Centre. He has prior experience working with underserved communities. In 2024, he participated in a dental mission trip to Jamaica, the “1000 smiles Jamaica Dental Project”, and he hopes to do more in the future. He enjoys providing care in all aspects of general dentistry and is dedicated to patient comfort.
Kartik is excited to be serving the community of Midland and surrounding areas.
Dr. Barry Biner
Dr. Barry Biner is a board certified periodontist having received his specialty in periodontics after completing a 3 year specialty residency in Periodontics from the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, PA. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto School of Dentistry and has recently joined as an associate at Bayshore Dental Centre.

DIGITAL PROCESS
Through the implementation of technology, our digital process limits our use of paper and also provides an enhanced ability to improve accuracy where imaging is concerned. Client charts combine pertinent clinical information, x-rays and pictures in a safe digital format.
The following further explains our digital equipment.
DIGITAL X-RAYS
Bayshore Dental Centre employs the use of digital radiography which requires 90% lesser dose compared to film. In digital imaging, instant images are available and diagnostic accuracy of the detection of decay and other problems is increased.
INTRA-ORAL CAMERA
Our intra-oral cameras have the capability of capturing areas of interest in the mouth that can be valuable as an educational tool to inform you of areas of possible concern.
INTRA-ORAL SCANNER
Newly acquired, the intra-oral scanner has dramatically improved our ability to capture dental information in a 3-D format. The intra-oral scanner is an invaluable part of the digital workflow that improves treatment planning to provide unparalleled accuracy.
IMPLANT-PLANNING SOFTWARE
With implant therapy, accuracy of placement is crucial. Within the digital ecosystem, we have the ability to recreate a 3-D scan of your jaws in order to visualize the anatomy and accurately pre-plan the ideal location for implant placement.
